Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English the other half Spanish. The parents of her include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. She was the first born of a family with six kids. Four of them are siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family is initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and hoped she could return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
