Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known to the world of pop music is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, together with his fellow classmates, formed a music group called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. Although he has always been interested in the world of music however, despite his love in it, he also wanted to be a lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed at an area bakery on a part-time basis to help his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. Because of this, the group he was in had to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group began in 2010. The five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. But they came in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
