Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old and grew up within Orange County. She graduated in 2015 from University of California San Diego and was able to make her first breakthrough acting. Pernas, who had made brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage before landing the part in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless, was a familiar face on the soap show. The actress who quit the soap in 2016, was cast in the role as Catalina in the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She portrayed Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause and This Is Us actress split in November of this year. News was reported in April 2021, that Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot during a secret ceremony.
