Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a performer, singer as well as an actress and musician. She is primarily musician and performer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was an attorney at the Madras High Court lawyer. She has a younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at the age of eight. She was a massive enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. At age 10 she was involved in the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the beginning of her early performing and music composition career. She also worked as professional theatre performers in the university. Andrea was also The Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her career in theatre by appearing in Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She also starred in a TV show that aired on Podhigai. Her roles have been seen in India. There was a brief appearance on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani who is wife and mother to a man with whom she has a love affair. Andrea was chosen for this role because of Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were approached by producers. It was released early in the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to take on a small acting role as a support in Venkatprabhu's film Mankatha to be launched in August 2011 Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, made in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
