Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the United States and is an actress, producer and writer, singer/director. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and starred for her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son, born on January 8th 1977 to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson has a younger sister Danielle and works as an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's career has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She was in films like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, she put her writing skills in The Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like 2010's Drones. Buffy states that, after taking the time to count and locate them she found more than 1800 Slayers across the world, of which 500 are associated with the Scooby Gang. Slayers become active when their abilities are mature enough. Soledad for example became an Slayer when she was sixteen. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in Supernatural's Season 10 She is apparently an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
