Kari Sam Wuhrer, born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has been blessed with three brothers. As a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, singer and actress. Her acting career at Wooster School at the age of thirteen years old. She was born April 28, 1967 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. Kari was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on April 28, 1967. Kari has 3 siblings. When she was just teenager, she was a performer in clubs, going away from home. Kari began acting at the Wooster school aged 13 and then went on to study drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. Kari got her first major breakthrough with MTV Remote Control in 1987.
